We Will Be at the 2023 Food Processing Expo, February 14-15, 2023

We’re looking forward to attending the 2023 Food Processing Expo in Sacramento, February 14-15, 2023. Be sure to stop by Booth 722 to meet our engineers and find out how we can help you navigate the upcoming FPIP solicitation, which closes on March 8, 2023.

Our professional engineers have helped some of the Central Valley’s most recognized brands save more than 40 million MTCO2e in annual greenhouse gas emissions, and 2.8 million therms of annual natural gas, while securing $25 million in utility rebates, incentives, grants, and financing.

The food processing industry is one of California’s largest producers of greenhouse gas emissions. These emissions contribute to global climate change as well as negatively impacting local air quality and public health. In an effort to help the state’s food processors reduce their energy use and subsequent emissions profile, the California Energy Commission created the FPIP grant program.

DC Energy Services has secured more than $17 million in FPIP funds for our clients. We’re experts at identifying FPIP-qualifying projects and applying years of experience in energy and sustainability management to develop the projects, write competitive grant applications, perform the required measurement and verification (M&V), and take care of all ancillary grant management tasks.
